What information / documents does a detained person need?

A detained person will need to bring several documents to present to the immigration judge at a bond hearing. The detained person will need to present evidence showing that: 1. They are not a flight risk, 2. They have ties to the community, 3. They have a history of employment and paying taxes, and 4. They are not a danger to the community Please note that documents can no longer be filed in person with the immigration court at a hearing due to COVID-19. These documents need to be electronically submitted to the court prior to the hearing.
